Hey Fivers!!
I know it's been a long time since I sent out an update. Things have just been so crazy around town for us that it's been hard to sit down and write to tell you all the exciting things we've been up to! So grab a cup of coffee or something and have a seat. Let's catch up! This is a long one, so apologies up front!
First of all, Thank you Thank you Thank you to all the Fivers who have been coming to all of our shows this year faithfully. We've had an incredibly successful year and we're going into fall and the holidays with full hearts from all the love we get from our friends and fans at every show! We really appreciate the support. We love what we do, but you guys make it that much more rewarding and fun! So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!!
We've played some awesome venues this past summer. We met a lot of new friends and had a lot of fun!! We're really looking forward to what 2015 has in store. We're lining up a lot of fun and adventure for Five By Five in the new year and we'd love to have you join us on the journey!
2014 has been a great year for Five By Five. We played a couple cancer benefits including (for the second year in a row) the Man/Woman of the Year challenge for LLS, completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, helped raise a little money for Silverbrook United Methodist Church in Lorton VA and participated in The Electric Palm Band Madness. Five by Five's participation in The Band Madness is our way of showing support by promoting the
camaraderie and friendly competition within all groups and musicians. We had a blast and look forward to next year's competition! I'd say that's a pretty successful year, but we're not finished!! There are a couple months left to good old 2014!

This weekend, October 24-26 We're working our way through Rocktoberfest into Hallowscream weekend!!
Oct 24 - We're back at the Electric Palm!!
Nothing says Indian Summer like sipping on an adult beverage overlooking the waterfront on the Occoquan River in Woodbridge Virginia! Party starts at 8pm. There will be food, drinks, and some goodies in addition to some great rock music and a guest appearance by some fabulous local singers! Come see what all the fuss is about!!

Oct 25 - It's Party Time at The Franconia Moose!
Join us for the Annual Adult Halloween Potluck dinner and dance!! This is a fundraiser for the Women Of The Moose, for their annual Christmas Party for the kids. Bring a dish to share, and $10 and have a Ghoulishly Good Time with Five By Five!! We've got our costumes ready! Make sure you wear yours!! there will be prizes for the Scariest, most original, etc. We wanna see who you wanna be when you're not being yourself!! Party starts at 7! Don't be late!!

October 26th (Sunday) Jeff and Vicki Marie will be at The Winery At
La Grange for our final scheduled appearance for 2014. Come out from 2-6 and enjoy the Indian Summer day at the Winery. Learn about their Cabernet Sauvignon and other interesting wines while taking in a little Five By Five light - our Acoustic act!

Nov 1 - All Saint's Day - Well not quite yet!!
Paradiso's is the place to be for the big Hallowscream Bash!! We've partnered up with a Private party of people who want to dance and have fun! Our friends are invited too!! The room to the side will be reserved for the party, but the main room will be for our friends and guests! Party starts at 8! Don't forget to wear your costume!! Fun and Merriment will commence!!

November has some happening events coming up!! We return to Orlean Market, The Dale City Moose, there's a big Sadie Hawkins dance at Dougherty's and finally we're back at IJ Canns in Winchester Virginia for the first time since April!! We've missed our friends out west!! Stay tuned for the next newsletter for more information on that AND our Big New Year's Eve Bash at Paradiso's!!
