Dan is originally from Long Island, New York. He began playing drums at age 9. He has played in drum corps, marching band, jazz and chamber orchestras and in the orchestra pit in numerous musicals and studied music theory.  He has played in the orchestra with the Maryland Ensemble Theater as well as several acts throughout the Shenandoah Valley and performs short-notice session and performance support throughout the northern Virginia and DC metro areas. His favorite drummer is the late Jeff Porcaro. He and his wife and daughter live in Winchester, VA.
