February into March it's a fabulous time to check out Five By Five!! 

Hey Fivers!! Welcome to Winter in the Washington Metro Area!

It is cold or what? We're off for a couple weeks to recoup from the holidays, learn some new tunes, get some stuff organized and then we hit the streets for some non stop back to back gigs that will have you dancing and singing and movin' to the groovin'! 


Saturday February 28th! We will once again be joining   those crazy cats out at Griffin Tavern!! come see what all the fuss is about. The food, the beer, the people and Five By Five. Well worth the drive to the country!! Come stay the weekend, and Vicki Marie will meet you at Wynn's in Front Royal for breakfast on Sunday morning!!

October 2014 update! So what has Five By Five been up to? 

Hey Fivers!!

I know it's been a long time since I sent out an update. Things have just been so crazy around town for us that it's been hard to sit down and write to tell you all the exciting things we've been up to!  So grab a cup of coffee or something and have a seat. Let's catch up! This is a long one, so apologies up front!

First of all, Thank you Thank you Thank you to all the Fivers who have been coming to all of our shows this year faithfully. We've had an incredibly successful year and we're going into fall and the holidays with full hearts from all the love we get from our friends and fans at every show! We really appreciate the support. We love what we do, but you guys make it that much more rewarding and fun! So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!!

We've played some awesome venues this past summer. We met a lot of new friends and had a lot of fun!! We're really looking forward to what 2015 has in store. We're lining up a lot of fun and adventure for Five By Five in the new year and we'd love to have you join us on the journey!

2014 has been a great year for Five By Five. We played a couple cancer benefits including (for the second year in a row) the Man/Woman of the Year challenge for LLS, completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, helped raise a little money for Silverbrook United Methodist Church in Lorton VA and participated in The Electric Palm Band Madness. Five by Five's participation in The Band Madness is our way of showing support by promoting the
camaraderie and friendly competition within all groups and musicians. We had a blast and look forward to next year's competition! I'd say that's a pretty successful year, but we're not finished!! There are a couple months left to good old 2014!

This weekend, October 24-26 We're working our way through Rocktoberfest into Hallowscream weekend!!

Oct 24 - We're back at the Electric Palm!!

Nothing says Indian Summer like sipping on an adult beverage overlooking the waterfront on the Occoquan River in Woodbridge Virginia! Party starts at 8pm. There will be food, drinks, and some goodies in addition to some great rock music and a guest appearance by some fabulous local singers! Come see what all the fuss is about!!

Oct 25 - It's Party Time at The Franconia Moose!

Join us for the Annual Adult Halloween Potluck dinner and dance!! This is a fundraiser for the Women Of The Moose, for their annual Christmas Party for the kids. Bring a dish to share, and $10 and have a Ghoulishly Good Time with Five By Five!! We've got our costumes ready! Make sure you wear yours!! there will be prizes for the Scariest, most original, etc. We wanna see who you wanna be when you're not being yourself!! Party starts at 7! Don't be late!!

Paradiso's is the place to be for the big Hallowscream Bash!! We've partnered up with a Private party of people who want to dance and have fun! Our friends are invited too!! Well, Vicki Marie finally got her crab on at Blue Ridge Seafood this past weekend with Bobby Will and the Bordello Bandits!! It was a great afternoon of some outlaw cowboy fun and crabs! Big kudos to Rob and Ken Justice for the nice afternoon!! Check them out if you get the chance sometime!

Now Blue Ridge is open year 'round, but the Tiki Bar Music only goes til the end of summer (or when the weather turns bad) We're going to see if we can book an Indian Summer afternoon at Blue Ridge, but in case we don't, come on out, raise a glass, grab a crab and sing along with Five By Five! So we're coming up on October 2014. It's been a wonderful year for Five By Five. We've spent time with our good friends and favorites and we've met many new friends and been to new places along the way!! We are pretty much booked for the rest of the year and in the process of locking in our New Year's Eve Extravaganza!! More news about that later, but right now, we're ramping up for Rocktoberfest starting with a fund raiser for Silverbrook United Methodist in Lorton VA October 4th and working our way into the party season as we play our way through the fall of 2014!! Summer is hot and heavy but Five By Five is cooool as can be!!

Sorry it's been so long since we've sent out an update. We've just been so busy it's hard to keep up with everything!! Your love support is so appreciated. We love hearing of all the compliments and comments we've gotten in recent months. We are adding new music and the hard work is paying off because we are having so much fun performing for you all!!

Thanks to all of our friends on Facebook for helping to spread the word about where Five By Five is playing!! Big thanks also to those of you who've been asking for us to play at venues near you!! We're happily working through the schedule to get out to all of the great venues that have been suggested!! Keep asking for your favorite party rock band, Five By Five!

This weekends shows! 

Hey Folks,

This weekend is a treat weekend in the north and the south!!

First up, Jeff and Vicki have been doing their acoustic duo thing called Joint Venture at the Uptown Tap House in NW DC. But this Friday night, May 30th, we're taking the whole band with us for one night!! Come on out to the Uptown Tap House at 3412 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008 - start time is 9:30. Accessible via metro (Cleveland Park 1/2 block away) or free parking in the lot right next door, means lots of time to have fun!! Let's show DC a little southern rock and roll!!!

Next, for you folks to the south, we're headed to Dougherty's Tavern in Stafford Virginia on Saturday May 31st!! Going to be great to see all our friends and make some new ones!!
