Jeff B - Guitar, Vocals, Music Director

Jeff  began his love of the electric guitar in 1966 in the New York City area during the psychedelic period of the mid-sixties and was initially influenced by the great Jimi Hendrix and bands of that time. He studied briefly in that area under Alan Dean, guitarist for the Ed Sullivan Show.

Moving to Memphis in 1969, Jeff was introduced to the Memphis blues scene and played with many Rhythm and Blues bands in that area. With over 40 years of love for the six string guitar, Jeff has performed in many professional groups from the New York area, Memphis, Raleigh, and now Northern Virginia. Jeff's roots are from the rock of the sixties and seventies including Albert King, Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, Page, Clapton, Harrison, Alvin Lee, and of course the numerous R&B and Blues groups of the Memphis area.

While Jeff enjoys playing many styles of guitar, he particularly enjoys playing funk, rock, blues and R&B. Most importantly, his passion is playing live and laying down a danceable rhythm with intriguing leads for the enjoyment of the audience and dance floor.
